The New Patriotic Party has successfully elected its fresh crop of national leaders during a tense delegates conference held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Party delegates gathered in their numbers to choose the officials who will steer the political affairs and organize grassroots structures moving forward. This major political gathering drew nationwide attention as supporters waited eagerly to see who would claim the various leadership slots.
John Boadu emerged victorious as the new National Chairman after securing a solid win over his fierce contenders. Justin Frimpong Kodua retained his strong grip on power by winning the General Secretary position once again with massive delegate support. Other notable winners include Kojo Bamba as First Vice Chairperson and Henry Nana Boakye as Second Vice Chairman to strengthen the executive board.
Leadership continuity and fresh energy combined seamlessly as Nana Akomea claimed the Third Vice Chairman slot during the keenly contested polls. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover secured the National Organiser position while Alfred Thompson took charge as the National Treasurer. These officers now face the heavy task of uniting the party front and driving robust campaigns for upcoming national assignments.
Mavis Hawa Koomson won the National Womens Organiser portfolio to mobilize female support bases across the sixteen regions of the country. Yakubu Abanga clinched the National Youth Organizer role to drive youth engagement while Ali Suraj won the Nasara Organiser position. Dennis Miracles Aboagye completes this formidable team after sealing his place as the National Communications director.
