NDC Communications Team member Hamza Suhuyini has acknowledged that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will feel the absence of Johnson Asiedu Nketiah’s experience as a leader and politician.
Suhuyini admitted that Asiedu Nketiah’s years of involvement in party leadership and politics have contributed to his experience, making his absence something the party cannot simply ignore.
However, he expressed confidence in the NDC’s ability to adapt to changes and overcome any challenges that may arise.
NDC Will Not Ignore Asiedu Nketiah’s Experience
According to Suhuyini, the party will not pretend that it will not miss the experience Asiedu Nketiah brings to its leadership and political activities.
Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito, has been a prominent figure within the NDC for several years. His long involvement in the party has made him an influential personality in its organisational and political affairs.
Suhuyini’s comments recognise the importance of experience in political leadership, particularly when a party faces changes that require adjustments in its operations and decision-making.
Hamza Suhuyini Expresses Confidence in NDC’s Future
Despite acknowledging the importance of Asiedu Nketiah’s experience, Suhuyini maintained an optimistic outlook on the party’s future.
He described the NDC as an institution that pays attention to its challenges, learns from them and adapts when circumstances change.
His position suggests that the party’s future does not depend solely on one individual, but also on its structures, collective experience and ability to respond to emerging situations.
Suhuyini expressed confidence that the NDC would overcome the hurdles it encounters, indicating that the party has the capacity to adjust and continue its political activities despite leadership changes.
Party Adaptation Will Be Important
Changes in political leadership can create challenges for political parties, especially when experienced figures have played significant roles in their organisation and development.
For the NDC, the ability to preserve institutional knowledge while strengthening its structures could be important as it navigates future political and organisational demands.
Suhuyini’s remarks therefore combine an acknowledgement of Asiedu Nketiah’s contribution with confidence in the party’s ability to move forward.
While he accepts that the NDC will miss the experience of the veteran politician, he believes the party can learn, adapt and overcome the challenges ahead.
