Security forces in Ghana have ramped up efforts to maintain public peace after a joint military and police team arrested eleven suspects at Kromase near Nkwanta.Major Muktar Saani led the strategic dawn swoop on Wednesday August twenty sixth 2026. Authorities executed a precise cordon and search operation to flush out elements threatening community safety in the Oti Region.
A search through rooms occupied by the suspects yielded alarming items including a black pump action gun and live cartridges.Officers also uncovered a brown body armour alongside a locally manufactured ammunition belt and an official police uniform. Recovering such sensitive security gear from civilian settings highlights why proactive intelligence operations remain very necessary across volatile zones.
All eleven suspects remain in lawful custody at the operational base helping investigators unravel the full source of the contraband.
