Two blood brothers are currently in big trouble after a very serious misunderstanding turned deadly at Tuba. Adams Adder Almeida and Bala Bilyon stood before the Adabraka Circuit Court this week to answer for their actions. The police brought them to court because of a fatal gun attack that happened at the Beach Drive Estate in Tuba. This sad event took place on August 6 and left the whole community in pure shock.
The attack claimed the life of Mohammed Rahman who was exactly 54 years old. The shooters did not only target him alone during the chaos. His dear wife Christiana Fosu also sustained severe injuries from the unfortunate incident. She is currently fighting to recover from the pain they inflicted on her family that day at Tuba. It is always heartbreaking when a simple quarrel ends in such violence.
You know how some people cannot handle small teasing? Well this specific situation went entirely too far. The police gave the judge a very shocking motive for the crime. Adams Adder Almeida actually confessed to pulling the trigger during his police interrogation. He told the officers that Mohammed Rahman constantly insulted him and called him lazy. Adams claimed the deceased also called him useless on several occasions. The continuous verbal abuse made him extremely angry and pushed him to commit murder at the car dealers resident in Tuba.
Words carry weight but taking a human life over mere insults makes zero logical sense. The Adabraka Circuit Court judge listened to the initial arguments from the state prosecutors. The authorities need more time to gather all their solid evidence against the two brothers. The judge officially adjourned the case to August 24 for the next hearing. The accused brothers will remain in strict police custody until they return to court to face the full law.
