President John Dramani Mahama has made it clear that public taxes are not financing the new multi-tiered airport hotel and car park complex. Speaking at the grand sod cutting ceremony at the Kotoka International Airport, he explained that the capital comes directly from the balance sheets of the Ghana Airports Company Limited. This smart financial approach ensures that major infrastructural growth happens without adding extra pressure on the national budget.

The massive seven storey project includes modern facilities like over two thousand parking bays, two hotels, and a shopping mall.Aviation authorities designed these additions to give international travelers a world class experience right here in Accra. Relying on corporate balance sheets rather than government revenue shows prudent management by state entities. Citizens can rest easy knowing that commercial aviation expansion is paying for itself through smart corporate strategy.
