Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has sued fellow actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, for defamation, seeking GH¢10 million in exemplary damages.

According to court documents, Van Vicker wants the court to declare that statements allegedly made by Lil Win in a video were defamatory and harmed his reputation.

The actor is also seeking general damages and an order compelling Lil Win to retract the statements.

In addition, Van Vicker wants an apology published on news portals for four consecutive weeks.

The lawsuit brings the two well-known actors into a legal dispute over statements allegedly made publicly. The case will require the court to consider the claims presented and determine whether the statements amount to defamation under the law.

The GH¢10 million being sought represents Van Vicker’s claim for exemplary damages. It is not a court-awarded amount, and the final outcome will depend on the legal proceedings.

Further details about the case and any response from Lil Win may emerge as the matter progresses through the courts.
