Leading Member of Democracy Hub, Oliver Barker Vormawor was escorted to court on Thursday, September 26 after missing his previous arraignment on Wednesday.

His lead counsel, Dr Justice Srem Sai notified the court that he had been hospitalized after he fell ill the night before.

Clad in a white shirt and khaki trousers and with a face mask on, the Democracy Hub leader limped slowly as he made his way to the court raising his cuffed hands to the heavens.

12 others including Felicity Nelson and Elorm Ababio aka Ama Governor had earlier been taken to the Circuit Court for the continuation of their cases.

Ama Governor was however escorted back to the Police vehicle after it became apparent that she had mistakenly been added to the protesters being arraigned before the court on Thursday. She was originally to reappear on October 11.

All the protesters have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit crime namely, unlawful assembly, causing unlawful damage, offensive conduct, assault of public officer and defacement of public notice.

The court is set to determine their bail applications.
