A farmer fights for his life After a motorcycle key lodges in his head during a breakup

A twenty nine year old farmer named Moro Razak is fighting for his life after a simple act of peacemaking turned into a deep nightmare. On Tuesday night, July 21, 2026, two young men playing a local tsatsa game in Amenyo started a heated quarrel. When Razak stepped in to stop the violent brawl, someone stabbed him in the head with a motorbike key that lodged deep inside his skull.

This heartbreaking situation shows how sudden violence can ruin an innocent person who only wanted peace. Peacemakers should receive praise in our communities, not end up fighting for survival in a hospital bed.

Family members first rushed Moro Razak to the Jasikan Municipal Hospital for emergency medical care. However, because the motorbike key went deep into his skull, doctors immediately referred him to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra for specialized brain surgery.

Surgeons successfully performed the delicate operation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, to remove the lodged key. While the surgical team did a fantastic job saving his life, the patient still needs intensive care to recover fully.

The total cost for medication and surgery stands at thirty three thousand Ghana cedis. His struggling farming family managed to raise seven thousand Ghana cedis to start the emergency procedure, but they desperately need financial support to pay the remaining bills.

Assembly Member Abraham Iman from the Kayadan Electoral Area has publicly called on generous Ghanaians to help the family. Every small contribution helps this young farmer return home safely to his loved ones.

The Jasikan Municipal Police Command has launched a full investigation into the violent assault. Police officers issued medical forms to the family while gathering evidence to track down the youth responsible for this dangerous crime.

Community members must stop resolving minor game disagreements with deadly weapons. Supporting victimized peacemakers and bringing attackers to justice will keep our local towns safe for everyone.
