When religious leaders step into active political battles, things often get messy very quickly. People expect men of God to preach peace instead of dropping heavy curses on political opponents.
Veteran music producer Fredyma recently lost his cool after watching a viral video of Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu Bempah. The outspoken pastor declared that he will block Dr Mahamudu Bawumia from winning power.
During a Sunday church service on August nine 2026, the clergyman launched scathing attacks against the New Patriotic Party. He swore that he would personally curse anyone who dares vote for the party in the upcoming elections.
Fredyma took straight to Facebook to express his complete shock over such aggressive utterances. He noted that using harsh insults and raining curses on citizens lacks proper maturity from a respected spiritual leader.
The veteran musician warned that branding a Muslim leader as unfit to rule Christians sets a dangerous precedent. Ghanaians must focus on logic and peace rather than allowing extreme emotions to divide the nation.
