American comedian and actor Michael Blackson has accused the Ghanaian government of mishandling his financial through investments.

In series of tweets shared on X formerly as Twitter, Michael Blackson voicing his frustration blames Ghana for his financial struggles as he points fingers on the country’s leaders.

The comedian reveals that he had purchased Eurobonds to help fund the Michael Blackson Academy, a free school he established in Agona Nsaba, but claims the government diverted the money to pay off national debt.

“I’m very disappointed in my people for this,” he wrote, adding, “Who’s the minister of finance in Ghana? I have beef with this guy.”

Blackson further stated he plans to take the matter to the world court, believing the government’s actions have left investors like him in a difficult position.

The Michael Blackson Academy, which recently celebrated its first anniversary, offers free education to children from kindergarten to primary 3, providing free uniforms and admission.

Despite his financial setback, Blackson remains dedicated to supporting the school, noting, “If it wasn’t for the love and passion I have for the unprivileged youth of Ghana, I would just hand my school to the people and walk away.”

Blackson’s public comments have generated a wide range of reactions on social media, with some supporting his stance, while others criticized his approach.
