Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak has stated clearly that the state will treat all criminal acts purely as crimes without shielding anyone. Speaking to Christian and Muslim leaders in Accra, he warned that nobody can hide behind religious cloaks to destabilize the country. Security agencies will act firmly and fairly according to the law to protect public safety.

This strong assurance follows a recent public clash between a local pastor and an imam which caused brief anxiety nationwide. Quick intervention by the Inspector General of Police and major religious figures helped calm down rising tensions immediately. Leadership maturity displayed during that crisis proved that Ghana values peaceful coexistence above everything else.

Muntaka and Government remains fully committed to guarding the famous religious tolerance that makes West Africa proud of our democratic credentials. Security personnel will maintain strict neutrality while prosecuting wrongdoers so that citizens sleep with both eyes closed. Our rich diversity stays as our greatest superpower which nobody should ever compromise.
