Comedian Michael Blackson has spoken out once again following his retraction of accusations against Ghana regarding his lost $1 million investment.
In a recent tweet, Blackson reveals that his personal assistant in Ghana had received threats in response to his earlier statements about being robbed of his investment.
Blackson expresses disbelief and frustration over the threats, stating that his initial intention was to share his personal experience out of helplessness after suffering the financial loss.
“Let me get this straight,” he wrote, explaining that he chose to return to his homeland due to the love and passion he has for Ghana, only to face a setback after being robbed.
Feeling powerless to address the situation on his own, he turned to social media to raise awareness about his ordeal.
However, the situation escalated when threats were directed at his team in Ghana.
Blackson conveys his disappointment over how his attempt to voice his concerns had seemingly backfired, leaving his people vulnerable to intimidation.
“Now they threaten my people,” he added, expressing frustration at how the situation has unfolded.
The comedian’s candid tweets come in the wake of his recent apology, where he clarified that his anger was directed at the situation rather than the country as a whole.
Despite retracting his earlier claims, the aftermath has continued to affect those close to him in Ghana, further complicating the situation.
