Shatta Wale Speaks Out: Blames Organisers for ShattaFest UK Cancellation

It was supposed to be a massive night of music, unity, and love, but ShattaFest UK ended in disappointment and confusion.

Dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale has finally broken his silence on why the highly anticipated event was cancelled, and he is pointing fingers directly at the organisers. In a recent video making the rounds online, the SM Boss did not hold back. He claimed that the planning was so poor, he had actually predicted the police would shut it down.

Shatta Wale revealed that he had warned his team, and even his wife, that the authorities would intervene because of how the event was being handled. He specifically called out the decision to merge Ghana Party in the Park with ShattaFest UK, describing it as a move driven by greed that ultimately led to the chaotic scenes outside the venue.

While the cancellation was a major blow to fans who travelled from all over the UK to see him perform, Shatta Wale believes it was the right call. He expressed gratitude to the UK police, paramedics, and the council for stepping in and stopping the show. In his view, their quick action might have prevented a much more serious tragedy from happening. He questioned why anyone would organize an event in a way that put people’s lives at risk just for financial gain.

His management, the Shatta Movement Empire, also released a statement expressing their deep sorrow over the incident. They emphasized that nothing is more important than the safety of the fans. While there have been reports of injuries and even unconfirmed rumors of casualties due to a crowd crush, the team urged everyone to stay calm and wait for official reports from the authorities rather than spreading speculation. It is a tough situation all around, but right now, safety is clearly the number one priority.
