Gospel musician, Uncle Ato has encouraged persons in distress and battling life’s difficulties to “turn to God.”

The gospel singer recounted how God came through for him during his days at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The revered worshipper said he had failed four courses at the University and was on the verge of being dismissed from the school.

However, God intervened for him as he prayed and sought his favour. He revealed that this was how to got the inspiration to write his song, ‘Ebesi Me Yie’.

“He is just a prayer away. He has a way of taking that burden away. Give you peace, he will help you navigate through.

“One of my songs, ‘Onyame wo mu oo, ebe si mi yie’ I has failed four courses at Tech and I was on the verge of being thrown out from the university. So, in the night, I went out to pray when I opened my mouth, tears just dropped from my eyes and as I wept before the Lord, I just heard in my spirit, ‘Onyame wo mu oo,” he narrated.
