Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has paid a visit to former President John Dramani Mahama he forgives him in a recent video following their meeting.
The visit came shortly after Shatta Wale publicly praised Mahama, stating that he benefited during the NDC flagbearer’s tenure and called on Ghanaians to apologize for voting him out of office.
Shatta Wale had previously expressed that it was a mistake for Ghanaians to remove Mahama from power, urging them to reconsider their stance.
The two had met before, a few months ago, when they traveled on the same flight from Ghana to London.
During this latest encounter, Shatta Wale is seen bowing respectfully before Mahama, who gently tapped his back and affectionately referred to him as “my son,” signaling reconciliation after past criticisms Shatta Wale had directed at the former president.
Shatta Wale can be seen smiling throughout the exchange, humorously remarked, “It is through you that I bought my first house,” to which Mahama responded, “It’s by His grace.”
