The Ghana cedi is currently trading at around GH¢11.76 to US$1, according to the latest exchange-rate data.

The Bank of Ghana recorded a weighted median rate of GH¢11.7650 to the US dollar on Monday, October 5, 2026.

The central bank’s data showed a buying rate of GH¢11.7591 and a selling rate of GH¢11.7709 for the US dollar.

The latest rate comes as the cedi continues to trade around the GH¢11 mark against the dollar.

Exchange rates can change during the day depending on market conditions and transactions.

The movement of the cedi against the dollar remains important for businesses, importers, travellers and consumers, particularly because changes in the exchange rate can affect the cost of imported goods and services.
