Former Member of Parliament Sarah Adwoa Safo has strongly insisted that the final funeral rites of her late father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, will proceed on July 30th as initially scheduled. She urged the general public to completely disregard circulating reports claiming that the ceremony has been postponed.

However, a serious family dispute has surfaced after her brother Akofena publicly challenged the announcement. He stated clearly that the funeral will definitely not take place this coming weekend due to unresolved internal conflicts regarding the handling of their father’s remains.

In an eye opening interview, Akofena revealed a shocking financial demand allegedly made by his sister. He claimed Sarah Adwoa Safo offered to release their father’s body to him only if he pays her an astounding three million dollars.

According to Akofena, she refused to hand over the body despite his official enstoolment as the legitimate successor and leader of their father’s estate. This huge financial condition has effectively halted consensus among key family members.

As tensions rise within the prominent family, Ghanaians are watching closely to see how this high stakes dispute unfolds. The public awaits a final resolution on whether the burial will hold on July 30 or be officially delayed.
