The Coalition of Unemployed Graduates with Disabilities (PWD) has moved to picket at the Jubilee House over persistent job exclusions. Frustrated members stated that the government failed to honor the legal five percent employment quota meant for persons with disabilities in public institutions.
During recent recruitment rounds of PWD by the Ghana Education Service, the coalition submitted a verified list of two hundred qualified candidates. Shockingly, not a single person from that list secured employment despite thousands of general slots being filled.
Group leaders are urging the Ministry of Finance to release urgent financial clearances to absorb suffering members. Staying home with university degrees for years brings deep pain that requires swift administrative correction. Authorities must step up actions to bridge this employment gap so inclusion becomes reality instead of empty talk.
