The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially published strict accreditation guidelines, voting timetables, and identification rules for its upcoming national conference on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The high-stakes elections will determine nine national officer positions across 31 polling stations managed by the Electoral Commission (EC).
Party leadership expects thousands of delegates nationwide to convene punctually as constitutional amendments precede balloting.
Under strict guidelines released by the National Election Organisation Committee (NOEC), every voting delegate must have their name verified against the official delegates’ register.
Delegates seeking to cast their ballots must present one of three approved identification cards:

National Voter ID Card issued by the Electoral Commission.

Ghana Card issued by the National Identification Authority.

Official NPP Membership Card.
Party officials warned that delegates without matching register details or valid ID cards will face complete denial of entry into balloting booths.
Voting will commence precisely at 12:00 p.m. following the official consideration of constitutional amendments during the morning conference.
The Electoral Commission will directly supervise balloting to ensure complete transparency and prevent multiple voting attempts.
The NOEC has instructed regional and constituency executives to communicate election protocols clearly to delegates prior to arrival. Party leadership emphasizes that discipline, cooperation, and strict adherence to rules will protect internal democracy.
Smooth execution of this national conference will position the party securely as executive leaders assume management responsibilities.
