Security consultant Dr Ishmael Norman has warned that individuals who flew drones over the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) headquarters without authorisation could face up to 30 years in prison if found guilty.
Dr Norman described the incident as a serious security breach and said those responsible could face legal consequences if investigations confirm that they violated security protocols.
His comments follow reports of unauthorised drone activity over EOCO’s headquarters, raising concerns about security at the facility.
He stressed the need for a thorough investigation to establish who operated the drones and whether any laws or security rules were broken.
However, the individuals involved can only be held legally responsible if investigations and the appropriate legal process establish their guilt.
