Six Ghanaians are among 79 people arrested in Zambia over suspected organised cybercrime activities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed that the arrests were made as part of investigations into suspected cybercrime operations in the country.

According to the ministry, the six Ghanaians are currently among those affected by the ongoing investigation.

The development has drawn attention to the growing concerns over organised cybercrime activities involving individuals from different countries.

The Ghanaian authorities are expected to work with their Zambian counterparts to establish the circumstances surrounding the arrests.

The identities of the six Ghanaians and the specific allegations against them have not been fully disclosed.
