Religion and politics in Ghana have once again crossed lines into serious drama. Popular clergyman Rev Owusu Bempah has dropped a chilling warning for a media personality. This fiery exchange shows how intense political commentary is getting ahead of upcoming elections.
The trouble started when Kessben FM broadcaster Nana Kwame Frimpong Ziega spoke on his programme. Ziega boldly claimed that the pastor church was heading for total collapse because of his anti NPP stance. The broadcaster even labelled him a settings pastor while discussing the political future.
Rev Owusu Bempah did not take the prediction lightly and fired back with heavy fury. During an interview on The Great Show the clergyman stated that Ziega would land inside the morgue before the two thousand twenty eight elections. He warned the broadcaster to watch his mouth very carefully.
The angry pastor went further to boast about his spiritual powers regarding political figures. He claimed responsibility for bringing a twenty year prison sentence upon former regional chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako. Ghanaians continue to watch closely as spiritual claims mix dangerously with fierce partisan politics.
