The Black Stars head coach made his feelings very clear during his pre-match press conference ahead of the crucial 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With key squad members like Alexander Djiku ruled out due to injuries and previous withdrawals, anxiety levels among local supporters have reached an all-time high.
Queiroz bluntly stated that anyone planning to come to the stadium just to lament over missing legs or cry about absent stars should rather remain in their rooms. According to the veteran manager, negativity will not help the twenty-two fit players available to execute the national assignment on the turf.
Instead of dwelling on squad depth issues following their opening defeat to Ivory Coast, the Portuguese trainer wants total backing for the lads who are ready to fight. He stressed that the national team remains bigger than any individual absence and deserves undivided encouragement from the stands to secure maximum points.
Football lovers heading to Osu must therefore channel all their energy into positive chanting and morale-building for the team. After all, complaining about who is missing will not put the ball inside the net when the referee blows the whistle for kick-off.
