Residents of Kasoa are still talking in low tones after a very strange incident happened in the neighbourhood. A young lady known as Esther was spotted moving around the streets while exhibiting very unusual behaviour that shocked onlookers.
According to reliable eyewitness accounts, she was standing with some young men before the whole drama started unfolding. The moment people started paying attention, those same boys took to their heels and bolted from the scene, leaving her all alone.
Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed that her actions were far from normal and alleged she looked heavily under the influence of an unknown substance. Substance abuse among some youth groups has become a major headache for local authorities in the area. Security experts and community leaders continue to warn teenagers about the dangers of following bad company into hidden corners. This particular event has once again opened conversations about how peer pressure ruins promising lives on our streets.
Community folks are now calling on the police and local leaders to increase patrols to weed out bad boy groups. Parents are also being advised to monitor the movements of their teenage children very closely these days.
