Cameroon finally broke their long final jinx by thrashing debutants Malawi 3-0 to lift the Women Africa Cup of Nations trophy. The thrilling showdown took place at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco. Fans witnessed an intense masterclass as the Indomitable Lionesses converted past pain into pure joy.
Star forward Marie Ngah Manga spearheaded the demolition job by netting a brilliant brace for her side. Naomi Ndjoah Eto also chipped in with a clinical goal to seal the contest before halftime. Malawi fought bravely throughout the tournament, but the early goals completely swept away their defensive resistance.
This historic triumph makes Cameroon only the fourth nation ever to claim the prestigious continental crown. Having lost three previous finals, this victory tastes sweeter than sugar cane after heavy rain. Both finalists have earned massive respect across Africa as they head straight to the global stage.
