Security operations inside commercial fueling stations face renewed scrutiny following a brazen evening raid in the Eastern Region.
A chilling security video has emerged online detailing the exact moment a four-member heavily armed robbery syndicate stormed a GOIL filling station at Nsawam-Okanta. The armed men successfully compromised the facility perimeter and allegedly robbed terrified workers of their daily sales.
The over one-minute video broadcast, which began trending heavily on the X platform interface on May 26 2026, shows the entire criminal operation unfolding on May 24 2026 at approximately 7 pm. At the time of the sudden invasion, pump attendants were actively serving everyday customers, completely unaware of the approaching danger.
The fully masked suspects brandished weapons and immediately attempted to force open a locked security door to gain access to the central cash storage section of the facility. Though they visibly struggled with the physical lock structure, the armed men successfully rounded up the frightened station workers. The security camera captured the suspects carrying large rubber bags packed with stolen cash and corporate assets.
Demonstrating a bizarre lack of urgency, some of the armed men even paused to casually loot consumable items from the station convenience shop shelves before escaping. At the time of this publication, police authorities have not yet confirmed any official arrests regarding the fugitive syndicate.
