Elections in Ghana always come with unique moments that leave everyone smiling and talking. Political tension often fills the air during regional congresses where delegates decide party leaders. Sometimes unexpected actions from top politicians break the heavy stress completely.
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah popularly known as COKA brought massive excitement to the election grounds. The former Ashanti Regional Chairman is staging a fierce comeback to reclaim his old position. Instead of walking around with heavy security personnel only, he chose a very different path to connect with grassroots members.
COKA walked straight to a special tent created by the Matan Nasara women group. The dedicated women were busy cooking and providing hot meals and refreshments for tired delegates. Without hesitation, the veteran politician grabbed cooking utensils and started frying eggs right there in public view.
Loud cheers immediately erupted across the entire compound as delegates watched him display his culinary skills. Party supporters praised his humility and down to earth nature during such a crucial political contest. Such lively moments prove that Ghanaian politics can combine serious strategy with pure entertainment.
