Arsenal fans have every reason to smile wide after an absolute masterclass at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Arsenal tore Manchester City apart with a commanding 3-0 victory to lift the 2026 FA Community Shield. Mikel Arteta and his boys showed real hunger right from the blast of the referee’s whistle.
It took just twenty-four seconds for Riccardo Calafiori to open the floodgates after receiving a neat pass from Myles Lewis-Skelly. Kai Havertz doubled the lead before halftime with a sharp header following brilliant work from new signing Christos Tzolis. Captain Martin Ødegaard then sealed the deal early in the second half with a clever finish.
Manchester City tried hard to crawl back into the game, but goalkeeper David Raya stood like a rock to keep a clean sheet. This sweet victory gives the North London club their 18th Community Shield title and sets the right tone for the new Premier League season.
